PostSubject: Warwick Bay    Sun Jan 04, 2015 10:38 am

Went fishing Yesterday at Mostyn with the two veterans, dad ade and uncle logger. Fished from 3 clock caught 2 dabs with my first two cast of the day.
While next to me the two veterans (aka the amateurs)had nothing.
Things started to slow down and few cast down the line caught another dab, 3 fish to the amateur and Zero for the Logger and ade  lol!

After my reel packed up and so did the spare, I used ade's reel and he used his boat reel that he still had in his kit, and then the amateur struck again  with a whiting and a codling on the same cast. (My first ever codling Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy )
the fortunes changed for ade as he manged to catch 3 dabs fairly close to each other, my mis hap may have helped him get the 3 dab as it was with the spare reel he caught the 3 dab, still falling behind is the logger   lol!  lol!  lol!  lol!  lol!   Laughing  Laughing
Then uncle logger moved spot and then his luck changed catching his first fish and only fish of the day as he caught a 20cm whiting.

Enjoyed the day cheers uncle logger and dad aka Codcatcher cheers

HAPPY DAYS  cheers  cheers  cheers  cheers

Great report!

If you check Uncle Logger's box you'll find he keeps a rubber 20cm Whiting in it for just such an occasion

Your reels didn't fail just after he'd been over to helpfully adjust them did they? Wink
