And we're off

But only just,fished the Mersey last night in search of a New Years cod but the fishing was quite different from last time we were here with no bites in the first 90 mins then Paul wol had a small coddling and Dave had one at 39cm


Then the bites started but it was whiting all round










And that was it until the tide turned and we called it a day

Looks a worthwhile session!

Nice one that's the way to start the new year with a few fish

Good report and pics shame the cod weren't getting cought as much and bigger ones but never mind plenty of time for more great nite tho and getting out is what it's all about

well done on getting out andy pity the codo's were a bit thin on the ground nice report and pics
