PostSubject: Beachcaster   Fri Dec 12, 2014 10:42 am

Im after a new beachcaster for Christmas rendeer santa
I dont want one that costs the earth but I do want a decent all round type of rod with plenty of feel to it thats not to heavy but has plenty of strength (for when I reel in that double figure Cod Wink ) but also a sensitive tip that will show a bite from a pin Whiting and one which will help me cast out to the horizon sunny

The most I've ever spent on a rod before is £25 but now I feel im ready for an upgrade Exclamation

I intend to use a fixed spool reel too so any advice would be great Very Happy

If your upgrading have a look
at Shakespeare Agility 12ft 9" FS Surf Rod or
penn powerstix pro 13ft 9"(see review) both seem
decent upgrades and won't cost the earth Very Happy Very Happy
