Fished a beach a few weeks ago and saw theses strange raised circles in the sand and wondered what made them,they looked like they had been placed on the sand fro the top but cant think how so i dug under one about a inch but nothing there these were about the size of a £2 coin

not seen these before but saw three seperate patches about ten foot around scratch scratch scratch

Possibly air bubbles that have surfaced from the wet sand and left these lumps!
