talacre sun sand and dabs

got a phone call from d & g last night to see if I wanted a trip to talacre for a few dabs. the last time we went it was a bit slow but that's not the norm for talacre so we met up on the beach car park at 11-00 am and set off for the water. we decided to fish 2 down 2 up. the weather was spot on with a warm sunny day with a light easterly wind and that's how it stayed with the wind dropping to nothing after low water. first cast and I was in with a double of dabs

and the bryn was in with a weaver not really what he was after but the blanks were out of the way

from then on till we packed up it was steady dabs most returned but all of a good size

I took a few home for a mate and bryn took a few for his tea

we finished the day with 39 dabs and 2 weaver fish most of them went back as they were only lip hooked
sorry about cutting your head off on the last photo bryn. so a great day out with good company lots of sun and lots of dabs
