| Does anyone fish dock rd at all? Was thinking of giving it a go, but you don't hear much about the venue. I believe it's a high water spot mainly for flatties, is that correct? |

| Mainly a flounder mark, but you may also take plaice in spring/summer.In winter you will also take whiting and the odd codling. The fishing is virtually from your car,and there`s a small wall running the length of the mark which makes it safe for youngsters.Standard beach gear/rigs/baits will work, though you will have trouble holding bottom on the bigger tides,as the tide flows up/down a deep channel.Fishes poorly after spells of rain/snow,and will also suffer badly from weed in such conditions hope this helps syd |
