 Menai straits

Well with the winds for today the only place we could get out is the straits so andy lee,paul and myself headed out at 5:30 this morning to see what species we could find,we had lots of fish throughout the day and managed 9 species between us with lots of cod,wrass and dogs making up most of the sport













As i said we  had lots of fish throughout the day,the fishing was hard work in the tide pull,wind and rain but the sun came out towards the end of the day to dry us off a bit so all in all not a bad day out afloat

Its reminded me how much i miss the Straits. Everyone else hated it but i loved the matches in there.

yes mate some good times had most of these on the wrass mark and the reef couldnt grip the anchor on the hole due to the pull but had a few drifts over it and had a few pout Very Happy one of them wind against tide days where the boat just kept swinging around but wouldnt of got out from anywhere else and we enjoyed the day
