My Father-in-law past away 2 weeks ago after a lengthy battle against illness. I don't think he was a member on here but I do know he visited the site very regularly to read the reports and the banter that goes on here. He fished the north wales coast for many years and taught me the basics to fish and gave me the enthusiasm to continue fishing when and were I can. I still remember the old phrase he told me when setting up rods with him fir the first time "give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he will eat for a lifetime"
John's family would like me to thank you all for the craic and the reports which helped him catch and eat a many of fish so thank you all.
