Didn't fancy doing the rock channel and with having a day off. I decided to stay local. 2 venues in mind 1 new over high water and one over low.
1st mark.
3 out biggest was around 4lb and a couple of schoolies bait was fresh crab squid and frozen crab.
Didn't think id get any hounds as there was a good surf on and a big chop but an hour and a half after low I had 3 one after the other biggest.
So I sacked it went for some tea then waited till dark got to my second mark waited for dark and set up about mid tide. straight away a good pull down with squid and crab a decent hound 13lb 7oz.
well happy by now. I waited another hour but no more takes so a little bit wet I decided to call it a day. in all it wasn't a bad day considering it was pissing down and windy.
