With the time slot we could fish today meant that we would be fishing an ebbing tide so me and Andy lee decided on a trip to the island for a spot of wrass fishing,Andy opted for float fishing and i fished hard on the bottom bait was ragworm After ten mins Andys float shot under and he was into a good fish on his carp rod resulting in this
then we were both missing bites and getting a bit frustrated partley due to the fact that i bought some shrimp rigs to target these minis but left them in the car we decided on a quick move to another rock and it was fish from the off
Thats the good thing about this place,if you travel light you can move around all day from rock to rock but because we were getting a few fish we decided to stay,i set up another rod with a two hook flapper on and it was a fish a chuck
It was none stop fishing all day until we ran out of bait and it was time to go home, not the big fish that these rocks often produce but plenty of them and was an enjoyable day in the sunshine
