When I 3/4 to fully tilt my 50hp Mariner engine petrol runs out - Please could someone tell wether this is this normal or have I got a leak somewhere ?

"If you are talking about after running it and you raise it after putting it back on the trailer, that is normal for that motor."

"With the motor tilted up all the way its inevitable that you will get some leaking from the carb throats, but if any leak when the motor is in its normal position could be floats stuck my evinrude does it when trimmed up not enough to cause concern tho
