Met Kev (wobbler 72) last night for a crack at our first thornbacks of the year,got to the west of the island 3 hours before high to
fish it up and 4 down,slow to start with just dogs and whiting until the wind dropped 4 hours in then we had a couple each,nothing
massive but a welcome sight all the same,all taken on sandeel,up and overs and pulley rigs.
Enjoyable night despite the cold breeze and looking forward to the next one already !!.
