PostSubject: Colwyn Bay   Colwyn Bay EmptySun Feb 23, 2014 11:08 am

Well what can I say the return to the coast didn't turn out like it was in my head! I got to north Wales 22/2/14 about 11:45 ish, picked up some bait then didn't have a clue where to fish. Drove along the front at colwyn, which was an old hunting ground for me a couple of yrs ago. So that decided found a spot with a bit of a mix of ground, Rocky nd sand! I sat had some food and enjoyed the view for half hr. Rod out rigged up with 2 hook flapper from lynx (nice rig). Then first cast around 1ish. Wasn't expecting anything just yet.

So sorting my little area out notice tip flicking! Left it for a moment and nothing. Decided to have a look any way. Back came the lug shredded. Writing came to mind! Change of bait back in. Tip flicking again this time left it for something more substantial. After 20 mins reeled in to find shredded bait doh!!

This was my afternoon til 4:30. First day out for over 2 yrs and a nice blank. But it was good to be out, weather was great too. No fish pics.

Until next time hopefully soon laters

A blank report beats a non report!

There's a special fish out there with your name on it.
