Splash Point for high. 26/05/09.

Driving along the prom an hour before high, and the water was screaming Bass at me.




I nipped home and collected my gear, a couple of rigs and some of the crab i had collected after work yesterday, to go with left over Rag from the match at the weekend.

Big baits on 3/0 pennels were sent into the swell, and rather than let my rod get a soaking against the railings, i opted to stand and hold it. Proper Bass fishing.


Unfortunately no one told the Bass, so after a few hours and the tide ebbing i gave up.

Still nice to get out though after 2 weeks without a day off.

No, im afraid there werent any today, but they would have struggled getting up the steps anyway.

On Terrys phone but he cant work out how to send a picture message, or transfer the picture to his computer so dont hold your breath.
