When wishing to put a photo on straight from your computer to your report/post follow these steps;

1. Click on the 'host an image' icon (5th box along 1st icon)

2. Click 'choose file' and in a side box your photos will/should come up.

3. click on desired photo which will enter the photos name in a box at the bottom of the screen.

4. Click on 'open'. Your picture box will disappear.

5. Click on 'host it'.

6. If your computer is slow like mine WAIT for a minute, dont give up. Another box will appear.

7. Click 'copy' on the middle box named 'image' which will highlight the writing in blue.

8. Right click on the blue writing and select 'copy'.

9. Do not press 'upload' instead go to the part where your report/post will be typed out and click on there as if your ready to type.

10. Right click and paste.

Go to preview and hopefully your photo will appear  Cool

This works for my windows computer but ive no idea if its the same for iPads, smart phones or any of the other gadgets that are out there so please feel free to have a go on here with your photo so we can all have a laugh at you a look at your brave efforts  Very Happy

Good luck  scratch

Brilliant stuff Logger,  cheers

It looks a little different on the IPad Mini, in places you will have to pan around as you might not see all the boxes as you would ( or where you would) on a larger screen

You may have noticed that the settings have been upgraded but its still quite simple to do;

You follow the first steps as before but after selecting your photo from your own computer files you need to either click the send all button or the icon on the right which is to upload a single photo then a line underneath will show the picture being loaded (should only take a couple of seconds).
Once it's all the way across three lines of code will appear, right click on the middle one to highlight it then copy it and paste it onto your post.

If when loading a second photo the previous picture is still there just click on the remove all tab then your ready to go with the next picture.

I don't know if you can upload a lot of photo's all at once with this new feature as I havn't played with it yet but it's not to bad to use just different Exclamation

Hope I havn't made it sound to complicated Exclamation
I'll put some photo's on as a guide soon Cool

Please ask if you have any query's it's never a problem Smile

Dave

This is the new Icon you need to click to upload your photo

The rest of the procedure is the same as before, sometimes when adding another photo the previous one is still there   Clicking Remove All solves this Exclamation

Your also able to choose the size that your photo will appear, 800px is the default size but this is huge whereas 640px seems to suit quite well thumbs up

For an update on using Photobucket as at July 2017?( you probably will decide not to ) visit

http://sunnyrhyl.forumotion.com/t8515-photobucket-upgrade

The method described by Logger uses a system ( servimg)owned by the operators of this site (Forumotion) and hopefully will continue so long as Forumotion does.
