Spooted a fella at Shell Island who had adapted this bike. I thought it was a well thought out bit of kit.
The rod rest was detachable for cycling. When set up on the beach he simply had to drag the bike to move all of his kit in one go. There was also a holder on the other side for a spade.
Notbad's next project perhaps? I might make one myself. I think I have an old carbon fibre time trials frame in the garage

He was staying in a campervan. Used the bike to get around to the fishing spots.
