Kids loved it 31/8/13

Asked the boys what they wonted do this weekend ,there answer light a fire ,boys will be boys .
So I had a plan ,surf looked like its was going be spot on at pensarn only problem ,very small tide ,but I have had bass from here before on a7.4 tide so thought we might be in with a shout with such good weather conditions ..
With such a small tide I went penmeanmawr to get some blow lug ,gaz and Sharon joined me ,and we all soon had plenty of bait for a good session .my plan to fish two hour each side of high ,so with plenty time to spare I got the kids fuelled up at McDonalds .. Then leasurely set up base camp for the dustbin lids ..

While setting up the wind blew my stand over and smashed three eyes on my rod ,good start ..the sea looked spot on

Cut long story short ,collected my cheque book and pen ,but kids had great time ,that what the day was about anyway ,catching something would have just been a bonus ...
