Anyone put me on any marks near here? The missus has just told me we might be going camping here.

ok, thanks - sounds like I need to walk round the coast a bit rather than trying directly off the beach there then.

Malcom at ABC tackle shop next to the petrol station just before Beaumaris is a good place for local lnfo plus he's always extremely well stocked with all the bait you'll need for any beach around there plus if you cant sleep and fancy a night session ive seen him open at 1am !

Try the far Amlwch side of the beach because it has a good worm bed a there are plenty of gullies for the fish. Easy to get to by car if you want as there's a car park close by - free after 6pm I think? The best time the fish is on the flood up to the high - watch that you don't get cut off when the gullies fill behind!

Suggest you fish when all the families are not around as this can be a very busy holiday beach.

Thanks for all your help.

After all this, when the missus tried to book the campsite recommended to us we were too late to get a pitch big enough for our tent.

We are going to shell island now. Report to follow (crabs probably). Lligwy report will have to be delayed until next year.
