PostSubject: Morgan James, Caernarfon   Mon Jul 22, 2013 4:21 pm

Ventured away from club waters a couple of weeks ago aboard Morgan James on a wrecking trip 40 miles out into the St Georges Channel. We tried a couple of wrecks on the way out in around 200 feet of water with not much success, so on we went, when we finally arrived at the wreck it was holding plenty of fish but there were 390 feet of water between the fish & us. It took ages for the gear to hit the bottom & a muscle busting age to get the fish to the surface. Had a cracking day though with lots of double figure pollock, codling, pouting & ling..

Very enjoyable day cheers cheers cheers
