Do Razor shell fish shed their shells like Crabs do ?
There's thousands of shells all along Colwyn Bay beach, ive never seen so many and there hasnt been a rough sea for ages !

Hmmm scratch 
Something has happened to them then as there's hundreds of thousands of shells on the beach and there all fresh ones too Exclamation 
Hasn't been a rough sea for an age either scratch

See the same thing by us at leasowe on
The wirral mate,I don't know if they only get
Washed up on the big tides but I've seen it
Loads of times before,people were going mad at
Leasowe once because when they were walking
Their dogs they were running through the shells
On the beach and cutting their paws!!!

Might be but weve only had neap tides recently so the beds haven't been uncovered !

It will have to remain a mystery I think scratch

Hot weather, still sea, low oxygen levels?? I've no idea.

The attached isn't the answer but I was amazed to read that razor clams hold recruitment classes!
