Venue
Old Colwyn
29.01.13

Time
11.00 - 13.30hrs

Tide
High 7.63M
12.15hrs

State of tide
Calm, plenty of colour

Wind
17 - 33mph SW

Bait
Lug, Mackerel, Mussel

Rig
3 hook flapper size 2 hook

Result
Total pants

Having some time off work due to the snow up North I thought i'd give my local beach a bash this lunch time and.... totally blanked Embarassed
Bait was coming back in untouched every time.
I was changing the bait every 12 - 15 minutes to try and keep the scent at its max but it didn't help Sad

Spoke to a chap who'd been fishing a little further along and he'd managed a small Rockling.
As we were talking we spotted the fins of two slow swimming Porpoise as they surfaced and dived repeatedly and gracefully only 30m away, seemingly without a care in the world.
Blank or not it sure beat sitting at home cheers
