I fished just East of the Mussel Bed tonight.

Yes! The Mussel Bed!!!!!!

Helped on by a big tide and also the shifting sands, I was fascinated with a close up view of a fantastic feature that I have to admit I didn't realy know existed.
Stacked to the rafters with sea life and apparantly if you view it via Google Earth it reads 'Fish Here!'

I did fish here!
Fresh Lug on a 3/0 Pennel.

Alas, I was more David Bellamy than Robson Green tonight!!!!

We had a good look around it one night when pumping lug. I dont think it was a particularly big tide either. Near enough straight out from Splash Point!

Its well worth having a mooch around down there at low. There are all sorts of funny things to see Shocked
