so what fishing pressies did Santa bring you

well musselman got his one boat rod that does it all, i got a weirdfish pullover ( I think that counts ) and a tarpaulin for the boat, what kit did we receive ( or treat ourselves to! )

Got a nice filleting knife and a book
that will hopefully help me catch more fish

I also got a new sea dangler magazine. On the front cover is a picture of a guy with a 19lb 13oz bass .

In the background is somewhere in Portsmouth where I used to fish as a kid !! !!

Wonder if he caught one of the schoolies I put back there ~25 years ago.

I got an old Mitchell 600 Garcia Reel in mint condition to go with my collection of fishing antiquities
in fact Im becoming a bit of a fishing antiquity myself I think

And are you going to use that knife yourself or does it mean I just won't have to blunt my own when your fish (and I use that word singularly) needs filleting?

and i've got a new fishing book.

With, or without chrome rings on sideplates?

This one has them so i believe it to be a 1969 model but i have another without which i think is a 1971 model ?

I've got a 602AP which I thought I'd bought in 1973 but acording to this guy http://mitchell600.info/ It wasn't made until 1975. Perhaps it's just old age

Theres an old advert on the following link that shows the 602AP for sale in 1967 !
Go into the web search on the left hand side and type 602AP then click on the bottom 1968 preview then click on the image to enlarge it as the 1967 preview doesn't seem to work ?????
