Not been out for a while (to be honest cant be arsed at all).so with the 2nd crab peel well under way. i thought id give the dee a go to see if the coddie have arrived and if not turn my attentions to the flatties.
so low water this morning i took a mate from work on his 1st ever sea fishing trip. (well with someone who knows what there doing)
Arrived at the spot and fished low up for flatties until the pull started. my mate was 1st in with a double header of flounder then a few singles and a couple of snotties. my rod stood silent the whole time so i opted to change to a pulley rig and big crab bait whilst the tide pulled hard. and when it stopped back to the flatties. again to no avail. so back 2 the flatties. then after a few missed bites i connected with a few nice flat plaice and a single flounder..
nice to get out in decent weather for a change and good company also. the camera only came out once as i cant be arsed with taking pics of flounder or eel's.
