P.b.flatty,small bass

After getting a call of Joe about his morning session i thought i'd give
it a few hours on sunday evening over low.chucked out a couple of crab baits while i was pumping worm, and had one of these  

 Switched one rod to worm and had a couple of tiddlers then a better schoolie.

It went quiet after the first hour with just the odd nibble so changed a rod over to a scratching rig which after a couple of casts and a cracking bite had a p.b. flounder landed at 2-7lb, 460cm long




The fishing died oddly after sunset apart from weavers


Gave it an hour into dark but nothing doing so called it quits, i also had a session on the 26th the only day over the weekend with decent weather
forecast, which they got wrong, it rained and blew a gale so cut that one
short but had a bit of sport with small pollack,ballans and a nice cuckoo
in the last couple of hours of daylight.

Just a rig with small hooks mate used when the fishing's carp, gets the smaller
fish you'd normally miss when using bigger hooks.

As in scratching around lol
