Happy Days Tope Saturday 2 June 2012

As The Fonz might have said,
Sunday, Monday, Happy Days.
Tuesday, Wednesday, Happy Days.
Thursday, Friday, Happy Days.
Saturday, What a day!

After wishing the week away, today I had the privilege and pleasure of being out from PSC with Graham on his boat " Happy Days"

After a trip to the drifting bait shop for just enough Mackerel on "feathers" ( and also found a Gurnard, Whiting and Weaver) we set our stall out for Tope.

First drop and I was soon in, I've never had a Tope before and was unsure of the size until after a month of sundays it finally seemed ready and appeared alongside.

My first ever Tope

Graham hadn't had a Tope before either but he was next to put that right, This one took off then did a bit of break dancing on the surface 80 yards behind the boat, thrilling stuff!

Heaved it into the boat between us but not weighed, it was though the heaviest on board today,

what weight do you old topers reckon?

The action wasn't over yet though, my second Tope ever was bigger than my first and I'm still enjoying the scrap it put up.

Thank you Graham thumbs up to a cracking day in good company and I learned a bit more about boats ( and Tope! )

Aaaaay!

Very Happy Days indeed!

Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy
