I love making my own lead sinkers . Been in the building trade I some times get hold of lead flashing ,happy days. There something very therapeutic about watching old lead flashing turning into shiney new lead and brand new sinkers ,is this just me our is. There anyone else out there who shares the same passion lol! lol! lol! .if anyone out thereis thinking of making there own sinkers it's not hard once you get used to it , just make sure you have a good breathing mask , and make sure you do it in a ventilated place ,another thing you need is a good glove like a welders glove . Most important is make sure you lead is bone dry before you melt it you do not wont water in lead when it's melting ,our it will explod you don't won't that
