First thing of note today was the shifting sands of time. 3ft have disappeared from the Garford Road entrance since my last visit here 2 weeks ago. The sand levels here seem to up and down like a brides nighty!

There is no finer sight in North Walian fishing circles than catching the Notbad Gully on the flood.
With thoughts of what this magical little stretch of fishing heaven might bring, hopes where high!

Just the one rod. Cast out as far as I could. A 3 hook flapper was baited with some left over Fresh Lug.

A few hours went by without incident.
