To Live and Fish in LL18

Subject: To Live and Fish in LL18 Sat Nov 29, 2008 9:53 pm

Venue - Splash Point, Rhyl
Tide - High
Time - Night
Bait: Frozen Lug

In over 20 sessions over high at Splash Point, I have only ever caught 1 fish. A pin Whiting about a year ago!
Most sessions had been in daylight, and those that know will tell you that night time gives you a better chance.

Tonight was my chance to take their advice and give it ago under the cover of darkness for a couple of hours upto high.

Surprisingly, there was action from the off!
First cast, 2 Dabs.

And so it continued…….

2hrs passed in the flash of an eye.

6 Dabs in total meant that my Splash Point jinx was finally put to bed.
