went to try a new spot as the wind had got up got there approx 11pm conditions looked OK baits were crab +lug worm (fresh) fishing over rough ground so I used x1 hook clip down with rotten bottoms got the baits out then sat back 5 mins good pull down on worm it was a whiting about 3/4lb wind dropped and the crabs came out to play havoc striping the hooks within mins even the crab baits were only lasting about x5mins decided to move venue as when i came through colwyn bay on prom there wasnt any one there so loaded gear away and of to the bay droped in to fish the rough ground as it was calm hardley any wind launched x2 rods out over the rough patch one on crab the outher on lug same rigs (didnt have long to wait the whitig were on the baits in mins here are a couple of pics

fished on till 1,am ended up with x3 whiting from first spot +about 6-7 from colwyn all on lug happy to be out +catching as well Laughing what more could we ask for Wink
