Rhyl Kayak Blank 31 July 2011

Took musselboy out for a paddle on our tandem kayak, from the slip by Sydenham Av.

Trolled some sandeels around splashpoint. Occasionally bungied up to some of the channel markers.

Usual result for us - blank on the fish, caught a few crabs.

The Rhyl parade went past, and we ate some great chips at the Sydenham Av chippy. Is that the best chippy in Rhyl?

'Val's' on Grange Road was voted Chippy of the year, although I have a soft spot for 'Les & Ritas' on Wellington Road.

Thanks for the info Mike. We will have to try them on one of our next visits. "Hungry Tum" will take some beating though for it's chips.
