we left St helens at 0630 and headed down to our first port of call, namely "Jokers fishing tackle" to collect the
days bait ... fresh black lug, frozen squid, and some peelers ... spot on !

then off the Prestatyn Sailing club where we prepared for the boat and had a brew and chat with some of the other
lads whilst waiting for enough depth of water on the start of the flood..
we were soon in and away after a quick tractor launch, and headed out to the funship in search of plaice.

with three four wheel drive tractors, a healthy membership and cracking facility's.. not to mention some of the best
boat fishing in the UK, Prestatyn Sailing Club must rank as one of the best and friendliest clubs around..

not much on the fishing front, and i was plagued with small codling. however the target species was aquired and not bad
sizes either

Jay with plaice

the evil angler with plaice

us on the way back

a clip of Black Bart with with Nathan and Jason aboard....

a brilliant day out with great company .... the next episode can't come to soon.....
