started off trying for a fluke or 2 at the blue-bridge before dawn [christ it was cold] and after 2 biteless hours sacked that so went downstream to fish over low water and the first few hours up , first cast joe lands a dab and I lose a fish in a snag then joe loses something decent on his bass rod , we think it,s gonna be busy but apart from kev landin a dab we had little action for a couple of hours , till low tide slack then , joe lands a nice codlin of a couple of pounds and that kickstarted the action with bites and fish all round for 2 hours or so , nowt spectacular but plenty to keep us warm on a cold but sunny day .,.
