Everybody conger 29.1.11

Unusual but I haven't bothered fishing for about 3 weeks,
during which time Mehmet has carried on regardless and fishless.
The returning cold spell ( -5 last night) wouldn't help prospects.

Today he called me to say he'd found a 5lb+ conger on the beach ( which swam with a little coaching) and a washed up pin whiting.

Are the fish back? I grabbed my gear and quick stepped to the beach

As darkness fell and the sand started icing up we quit,
once again the fish had led us a merry dance.

Nice to be out all the same
