PostSubject: Silly o'clock on the Mersey   Sun Jan 09, 2011 3:51 pm

Went out on Suveran II with Simon this morning at 3am. The wind had picked up overnight and it was a bit lumpy on the river. We had around 18 cod between 5 of us on board and a few dabs each at slack water and even one whiting which must have been lost!
Once the tide started to flood it went quiet and no more fish were caught. Another nice day out and a few fillets in the fridge. Sorry no pictures again but I've misplaced my camera.

I thought Liverpool fought well but ultimately 12 against 10 was too much

It was 11-a-side last night but all the Liverpool players were ill so Dalglish rounded up 11 donkeys from the south shore and handed them a kit.
