Bait - Frozen Lug, Frozen Razor
Date - 2nd january 2011

Llandudno Pier is a special place!
Along with Cathederals, it's a place that can put a lump in my throat.
Beautiful surroundings and amazing memories made tonight yet another great trip out.

With Spaceman on sick leave, Notbad and I grabbed his usual spot by the cafe.
Notbad was the first to register a fish. A half decent Whiting!

Musselman and Musselboy set up at the back of the bar.

Musselboy was about to break a sequence of blanks.

Musselman was next up!

On a roll now, Musselboy was in again!

I finally had a bite!

Eerie at the best of times, tonight I had the feeling I was being watched!

After 4 hours, it was decided that the fishing was officially 'slow'!
Musselboy had taken the night with 4 fish.

I think the rest of us only had one a piece!
My Abu was quiet, to say the least!

Notbad and I left the Mussel's to it and called it a day just after high.

Fortunately Fairziff and Notbad chose to fish on the wrong side of the pier so Musselboy and I had most of the fish, starfish, and definately all of twiglets to ourselves.

We fished on another half hour with two more small whiting to show for it. Musselboy catching most fish and starfish on the night.

Conger rod untouched. Bad news for us, but good news for the livebait whiting, it got to swim free after.
