Sunday 19th Dec Sunday19th002

On the beach at first light, but held off wading until Maestro turned up,
a lovely morning for a paddle!

As high neared we'd nothing to show and moved to The Point

Sunday 19th Dec Sunday19th004

A sloppy error had me sending a loose rig and shockleader out to sea

Sunday 19th Dec Sunday19th005

we weren't the only nutters out but shunned the platform as we didn't fancy the ice covered rocks

High came and went without anything to report.

Nipped back 90 minutes later -timed to perfection to recover my lost rig,
both baits were intact and still fishless

I thought it seemed a bit parky!
I had minus 7.5 in Rhyl this morning ( Monday) but it was down to -12 on the dash when I reached Welshpool at 8 am, must say the gritters had done an excellent job on the dual carriageways.
