| hi all had a go on the mersey today,got to woodside 3hrs before high water,it was a nice day, not cold for a change,i used frozen blacks and squid.......there was another angler allready there,wasnt long before he had one.....nice to meet you tony  heres some pics.....   i managed 2 the biggest at 2pnds 13oz...........   the other 1pnd7oz not a monster......but a fish....  a russian guy turned up bout 1hour before high he caught 1 tiny codling and a tiny dab!!!! the 2 coddos i had were bout an hour before high water,missed a load of bites,lost only 2 rigs though.... heres some more pics...... wish the council would empty the bins!!!!!!!!  heres some pics................     tight lines............... |

| i fished cod corner, birkenhead(woodside)ive fished there for years a good cod mark!!tony that fella was on either your boat or simons the other week when that 14lber was caught!!!!!!!!!! |

he was with Simon, comes out with us on a regular basis, I take it you did'nt get him to join the forum then? heres the 14lb,er
