Went back to the corner yesterday n fished from low upto high. Started off slow with not even a bite for the first hour but then had a couple of bites one of which turned out to be a codling of around two pound. All quite again for another hour when had another gentle bite which though was a pin whiting but turned out to be me best coddo of the winter at 3lb 2oz. Another quite spell, followed by a frantic 15 minutes of bites which could seem to hit, but an angler fishin next but one to me managed a codling of around 1 1/2lb. Quitened off again until just before high when I managed a couple of 1 1/2lbders. That was it for And, almost unbeleivably for this mark, didn't loose any gear.
All fish taken on pulley rigs, 18 - 24'' hook lengths to size 3/0 vikings baited with black lug / frozen crab coctails tipped with squid.
