Sunshine and Spinney Things!!!

Venue - Rhyl, Splash Point
Tide - Low
Time - Day
Bait - Fresh Lug
Date - 1st November 2010

The sea was flat as a pancake, which, the experts will tell you is not idea at this venue.
But the sun was out and it was just perfect being there on the beach.

My favourite rig of the moment, the Jensen 2 up, 1 down flapper, was deployed with a small whole lug on each hook. Flat calm so 4oz was more than enough.

2nd cast and a twitch!
A pan sized Dab surfed in!

Next cast and the same result!

Quite a surprise really! I wasn't hoping for much out of this session, but maybe the lucky twiddle of the spinney thing had made a difference here!

A few more casts and a final Dab made for a great ending to yet another magical Sunny Rhyl experience!

Now happy his pan will fill
