Not for long! Damion and his son Nathan arrived for a mini session.

With his last 6 outings resulting in a blank, Damion was going to fit in well here in Sunny Rhyl!

Squidward had now arrived on Castwatch duties and was acting as our safety man!

First cast for me and a blank avoided with a cheeky little Weever.

A shout, almost in disbelief, was heard 20yds to our left.
Damion's homemade rig had made a difference.
A Weever for him too.
Squidward by now, was on a roll. Here he demonstrates 'advanced Weever handling techniques'.
Don't try this at home!!!!

We could relax now. No blanks for us so it was time to enjoy the wonders of Rhyl Beach!

Here's one for all you Geology students out there!

Bricks and More, Ta! Splash_point_22_08_2010-029

I was just showing off when a 2nd Weever took my re-frozen Lug offering.

My kerfew was now up!
Happy to have caught a couple of fish in good company.
It was great to meet Damion and Nathan for the first time. Hopefully I'll see you both out there soon.

I'd gone home prior to the sunset, so no pics of that. I did catch it later whilst out on dog walking duties.
It was particulary special tonight!

Whilst captured a few hours earlier, i'll leave you with this one.
