well the dark blue boat in the centre i think is the old striker and pete campini
the light blue one on the left would be gibby hughes on the osprey
the rest i couldn't even guess at. way before my time. i think this is back when my dad and steve were crewing

Tony this post card is from the mid eighties black boat is the Striker owned by peter campini one of many to go under that name , red boat centre of the river was colin shiels boat the selatchi , out side that was the osprey run by gibby hughes .ahead of the striker you can see the top of the wheelhouse of the katie louise run by nick longfied happy days when the sun was always out and lots of tourists flocked to rhyl and the bay was full of thornback rays drunken drunken and the dixie was in full swing drunken drunken lol!

Cheers for clearing that up.........does anyone know what the current state is regarding city of ottawa?

yep its still a heap of sh--e sticking up out of the mud , getting in the way by all accounts cant be moved because the powers that be say the road will collapse.the irony of it is it was being towed south to be scrapped came to Rhyl for shelter and is still here Mad Mad Mad
