looking for a new bass rod or fix my one ??

think your problem could be hooks and not the rod i have the penn power stix pro 11 foot 6 and its stiff enough as most of the time the hook is set by the bass picking the weight up and running with it or the bass are not getting the hook in there mouths

I once had an old zippy done,extra eyes and underwhipped did the trick.
