PostSubject: Barmouth Bridge   Barmouth Bridge EmptyWed May 19, 2010 7:52 pm

I opted for the bridge rather than the harbour or breakwater due to the fact when I drove past it no one else was fishing on it !

Ive never done the bridge before due to the fact yu have to get there early as the hot spots are taken early.

This being a weekday and early in the seasn meant I could give it a go for the 1st time !

Weather was dry but very cloudy, bait was frozen mack and frozen squid (due to thats all they had at the tackle shop)

I fished 2 hrs up and 2 back down, final tally was 5 weavers, 1 flounder and a doggie, pic will be put up when i get to work tomorrow.

tight lines !

Nice session Ian.
Most of us will be very lucky to see a Turbot this year.
Well done!

Is it a bit hairy when a train crosses the bridge?

It rattles a bit thats all, you are serarated from the track by a fence running the full length.
