Venue - Notbad Gully, Rhyl
Tide - Low
Time - Night
Bait - Fresh Lug , Fresh Razor
Date - 3rd March 2010

I wasn't fishing the infamous Notbad Gully tonight, I was stood in it!
A huge tide mean't that I was as far out as you are likely to get at this venue.
Perfect opportunity to peruse the topography of one of North Wales's most consistant beach marks.
With no features to speak of, the most interesting thing about the terrain was probably the abbundance of bait.
Lots of Lugworm casts were to be expected, but loads of small shellfish and razor fish were poking out of the sand.

Maybe this explains Notbad's Codling, caught practically where I stood less than 3 weeks ago on Razor.

A few casts with Fresh Lug were quiet.

My new, GE Tools supplied, LED Lenser H7 was given it's first outing and what a difference it made.
Used as I am to cheap £10 specials, this lamp was a revelation!
Good enough to spot a beached Pin Whiting at 50yds!

A few final casts with the Fresh Razor didn't change my luck.
No fish, but great to be out on the Hallowed Turf nonetheless!

Happy Days!!!
