PostSubject: Morgan James - Holyhead   Mon Feb 22, 2010 5:16 pm

Date - 21.02.2010
Venue - Holyhead
Boat - Morgan James II
Bait - Frozen & Fresh Mackerel, Frozen Squid

Took a wrecking trip from Holyhead aboard Morgan James to banish those Mersey winter blues. The sea was a bit lumpy to say the least & with the odd wave making it over the wheel house on to the deck & a lot of crashes & bangs coming from the wheel house, it looked the gremlins had been having a house party by the time we got to the wreck.
The wreck only produced one doggie & a serious amount of lost tackle & with a worsening sea we headed for calmer waters, here we managed more doggies, whiting, pouting & small codling.

Ditto that John, you have spent more time in the cabin keeping warm than with your hand on the Rod Laughing Laughing Laughing

Bring on the Spring!

I bet that tested your sea legs!

Loads of space on the back of the boat by the look of things.
