It was busy over high this afternoon, with Ian, Paul + A N Other at the point and the maestro a few hundred yards further towards the Sun Centre.

Im sure one of them will report on the action later.

Cheers for the lug Ian.

Just caught the top of the tide, 4 casts off the rails into the latte,
4 more off the rocks into the cappuccino.
Fresh air blew the cob webs away
and I got the expected zero.

I witnessed true optimism yesterday evening, before speaking to James, and Paul and Mehmet, I saw a lad fishing to the East of splash point just off the apron. He was wearing trainers, standing on the sand, and casting a toby type lure into about 2 or 3 feet of sandy water!
I only hope it doesn`t discourage him Laughing

I got a message tonight at 7:30pm simply stating 'Bass About'.
With no question mark, it had to be that Notbad had seen some action.
A subsequent dog walk had me heading out into the dark, strangely drawn to a blue tip light in the distance.
The Maestro and Notbad were there and I saw photos of bass caught earlier by Notbad.
The Maestro had seen a single Whiting and a Codling.

Report to follow I'm sure!

With a big tide and calm conditions, it was no surprise to see Clueless Too being hitched on the towbar at 06:42 today.
Any joy Mark?

PostSubject: A round of applause for Newbie-Al and something to colour in   Sun Dec 25, 2011 12:42 pm

I did a Castwatch Sweep this morning, ( it pays triple time on Christmas Day!)

It's more than a bit blowy at Splash today, a round of applause for Newbie-Al putting some colour in his cheeks cheers
Hope your new toys catch mate!

Also spotted an Unidentified Fishing Operative down Wellie Road heading for the beach with a dog in one hand and a rod in the other
- " I'm just taking the dog for a walk Honey!" -good effort there!

For us less hardy souls, here's the pics to print, sit by the fireside and colour in, ( use blunt crayons if you're no longer allowed sharp objects)

Merry Christmas!
