The Cayley Cabin, Colwyn Bay Empty
PostSubject: The Cayley Cabin, Colwyn Bay   The Cayley Cabin, Colwyn Bay EmptySat Jan 02, 2010 5:50 pm

Left the house at 7:45am (not been up that early for a couple of weeks!) I have to say the only way to describe the roads from Wrexham to Colwyn Bay was "abysmal", snow on the roads, ice on the roads, NO SALT, NO SNOW PLOUGHS, were they not expecting it ?

Rant over here's my report

Fished about 3 hrs up and a couple down, baits were black lug, squid, mackeral and prawns, I fished 2 hook rigs (1 up 1 downs, one of glads beady wishbone rigs), the result ?

BLANK !!

thats my second daylight session that has resulted in a blank on the run, its back to fishing in the dark for me !

Great effort on getting out.

As for the Gritting, i was told by an X councillor that they have run out of Grit in Flintshire.

Great when you think of all the money they take off us every year.
