First footing Jan 1 2010

January 1st 2010.



Once more unto the beach at 5pm ready for Low Friday night.


Milder than it has been.
Full Moon, decent tide and a North Westerly surf gave hope but
4 hours later neither I nor Mehmet had seen so much as a knock.

Close to giving up but joined Ian, Tony and Simon on the prom for High



Finally, It looked like a bite, it felt heavy and something large and white
came through the surf!

..bit disappointed when it turn out to be
a plastic bag and a rockling in combo, but at least my blank was broken.



Knocked it on the head at 11.45pm
Ian won with two whiting and a timeshare with Simon.





I haven't blanked at all this Year!

Good to see our friends 'The Rockling' back.
