2 Up vs 1 Up/1 Down - Fight!!!!!!!

I was keen to try out some of Tony's rigs today.

I went with a Two Up Flapper with Size 2's on the Fladen Warbird and a One Up/One Down Flapper with Size 4's on the Enticer.
Fishing both rods at similar distance with the same bait (1/3 of a worm per hook), it should be a fair comparison of both rigs.

Conditions were calm and mild. What wind there was, was coming from the North West. A small surf was the result.

First cast and the flappers were doing the business.

Both rods were going at a regular rate.

And so it went. Whiting after Whiting. It was hectic stuff!

There were a few fishing to my left. Too far to see how they were getting on.

The Whiting continued up and over high.

An hour after high, someone must have flicked a switch because the Dabs appeared.

My decision to head out of Sunny Rhyl for todays rig test was proving to be a good one.

As dusk arrived, both rigs were still battling it out.

After possibly the busiest session I have ever had, scores were pretty much even on the rig front.
Both had performed consistantly well throughout. Bites were non-stop on both and it can't think of a bite that didn't result in a fish being landed.

I will definately be stocking up some more of these bad boys!!!!!!
